DGOV Academy's Nationwide Launch Advances Digital Government Transformation in UAE

The Digital Government (DGOV) has recently launched the DGOV Academy in various emirates across the UAE, marking a significant step in the nation's digital transformation journey. This initiative aims to enhance the digital skills of government employees, aligning with the UAE's vision for a digitally empowered government.

The virtual Academy provides specialized training for government employees aiming to enhance their skills and knowledge in ICT and innovation. The courses are tailored to meet their diverse needs at all skill levels and from various departments. They offer intensive, in-depth learning experiences, including hands-on training and the chance to gain insights from industry experts. DGOV Academy is free and accessible remotely, allowing government employees to participate at their convenience, from any location.

Launch Timeline and Collaborations:

• Ajman, 15th November: In collaboration with the Department of Digital Ajman, and in the presence of H.H. Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, and H.E. Dr Ohoud Shuhail, Director General of Department of Digital Ajman, and H.E. Eng. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Zarouni, Deputy Director General of the Digital Government Sector at the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority.
• Ras Al Khaimah, 13th November: In association with RAK Electronic Government Authority, and in the presence of H.E. Eng Ahmed Al Sayyah, Director General of Electronic Government Authority of Ras Al-Khaimah, and Eng. Mohammad Al Khamis, Director Development Department of the Digital Government Sector at the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority.
• Sharjah, 2nd October: Working alongside the Department of eGovernment, and in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director General of the E-Government Department in Sharjah, and H.E. Eng. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Zarouni, Deputy Director General of the Digital Government Sector at the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority.
• Umm Al Quwain, 25th September: Collaborating with Smart Umm Al Quwain, and in the presence of H.E. Khaled Sultan Al Shamsi, Director General of Smart Umm Al Quwain, and H.E. Eng. • Fujairah, 19th September: In partnership with Fujairah E-Government, and in the presence of Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director General of the Fujairah E-Government, and Eng.
