General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments aims to implement Quran Education Service in the government schools as an
important strategic step in developing its strategies and policies. This
initiative comes in response to the community's need for balanced religious
education within a formal educational environment. It seeks to enhance
communication with religious heritage and deepen the proper understanding of
the Quran among students in government schools. Through this initiative, the
authority seeks to build a responsible and knowledgeable generation, endowed
with a deep understanding of Islamic values and capable of applying them

organized and supported educational framework provided by the concerned
authority.
The aim of
consultation
This
initiative aims to implement Quran education services within the government
schools, while cancels evening classes in current Quran memorization centers,
with the goal of reaching the widest possible segment of society. This is
achieved by incorporating Quran education into the official curriculum,
allowing students in mainstream schools the opportunity to learn and understand
the Quran during regular school hours, without the need for additional evening
classes. This approach aims to enhance access for students from all age groups
and social backgrounds, maximizing the utilization of official school hours
effectively. Additionally, this initiative will enable the community to fully
utilize government educational facilities without the need for additional time
allocation for religious education in late hours of the day.
