Subject: 'Consumer Protection' is one of the services offered through the Ministry of Economy website to all customers with an aim to safeguard the health and safety of consumers when they obtain/use a service/commodity. This service enables consumers to submit complaints/feedback related to unauthorized price hikes.
Objective: The Ministry of Economy continues to launch strategic policies and initiatives aimed at enabling sound business practices, protecting consumers and raising their awareness, and implement them in cooperation with its partners from federal and local government departments and the cooperative and private sectors in all emirates of the country. We believe that the protection of consumer rights is key to driving national economic growth and development.
